Thirsty Bear Pizzeria, a beloved local eatery in Reading, sought to refresh their digital presence and brand identity while staying true to their rustic and handcrafted roots. The goal of the project was to create a cohesive online experience that reflected the warmth and authenticity of the pizzeria, while enhancing their visibility and usability for both new and returning customers.
Inspired by Thirsty Bear’s existing hand-drawn rustic logo, I developed an expanded branding concept that maintained the character and charm of the original design. This extension was seamlessly carried through to the website, where I crafted a clean, user-friendly layout that focused on the restaurant's personality and customer experience.
The new website incorporated bold typography, a warm color palette, and engaging design elements that highlighted the business’s unique offerings.
I designed a modern, easy-to-navigate digital and print menu that was fully integrated into the website. The menu layout was designed with usability in mind, ensuring that visitors could quickly browse and find their desired dishes, all while maintaining consistency with the overall branding.
To complement the new website, I provided all of the photography. This included high-quality images of the pizzeria's food, interior, and overall ambiance. The goal was to showcase the authentic, handcrafted nature of the food and environment, reinforcing the brand’s welcoming and cozy vibe.
